About the Event

How can creative processes in nature help us nurture a genuine sense of wellbeing?

Nature’s I - is an outdoor, collaborative project based on somatic dance and expressive arts practice by Anna Dako which underlines a direct link between arts, environmental sensitivity and wellbeing (i.e. psycho-somatic health).

Through artistic encounters and ongoing feel:thinking with Nature the project strives to bring all the living and wellbeing-enriching aspects of the natural environment to our awareness and ponder over their deeper meaning as experienced in movement. It is also designed to give voice to a variety of different natural settings of Scottish landscape and to build a creative dialogue with the landscape’s distinctive qualities in the experience of the environmentally inclusive ‘whole self’.

In this introductory, indoor workshop we will be getting to know the three steps of experiential immersion as the project’s creative methodology and discovering different entry points into ecological connectivity in movement and creative reflection.

Please join us for this exciting beginning of a project as an opportunity to get involved, or come along just to unwind in gentle movement and open exchange. All welcome.

Please bring comfortable clothing and your packed lunch.
